On 30 June and 1 July 2016, the Waddenacademie and the NIOZ Wadden System Research Centre will host an international scientific symposium at Texel on “Cumulative Effects in Marine Ecosystems” in co-operation with the Netherlands Commission for Environmental Assessment, the Waddenvereniging and the Province of Groningen.
Thursday 26 january SOS Dolfijn has released Harbour porpoise Nena. After eleven months of rehabilitation Nena was finally recovered from all her medical problems. Nena was found stranded on March 5th 2016 on the German coast. She was emaciated and infected with lungworms.
